Trustawork is built on trust. These Community Guidelines exist to make sure every worker,
client, and shift is handled with professionalism and respect. All workers on the platform
are expected to follow these standards at all times.
1. Show Up and Be On Time
- Arrive at least 5 minutes before your shift starts.
- If you cannot make it, cancel as early as possible — ideally more than 24 hours before the shift.
- Repeated no-shows or late cancellations will reduce your reliability score and may result in suspension.
2. Be Honest and Transparent
- Only apply for shifts you are genuinely qualified and available for.
- Use the correct clock-in and clock-out codes. Never share your codes or attempt to falsify your attendance.
- Provide accurate information in your profile. Do not misrepresent your experience or skills.
3. Treat Everyone with Respect
- Be polite and professional with clients, their staff, and their customers.
- Do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion, age, or disability.
- Use in-app messaging for work-related communication only. Harassment or offensive language will not be tolerated.
4. Protect Confidential Information
- Shift locations, client contact details, and access codes are shared with you in confidence.
- Do not share client information, photos taken on site, or any other confidential details outside the platform.
- Do not use client information to contact them or solicit work outside of Trustawork.
5. Work Safely
- If a shift location or working condition seems unsafe, you have the right to raise a concern before starting work.
- Report any safety issues or incidents to your shift contact immediately and to Trustawork support afterwards.
- Do not work under the influence of alcohol or substances.
6. Keep the Platform Fair
- Do not create multiple accounts or attempt to game the reliability scoring system.
- Do not arrange off-platform payments or try to bypass Trustawork's payment system.
- Report suspicious behaviour by other workers or clients through the in-app support feature.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- A reduction in your reliability score.
- Temporary suspension from the platform.
- Permanent removal of your account.
- Forfeiture of pending earnings in cases of fraud or serious misconduct.
Reporting Issues
If you experience or witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it through the
Help & Support section of the app. We take all reports seriously and review them promptly.
